Redhill School

Redhill School, a thriving and successful secondary school with 1170 pupils. Redhill has a history of excellence based on our core values of hard work, discipline, high achievement and trust. Such high standards really matter - in both the academic sense and wider context of preparing young people for their future. I am proud of the well-deserved excellent reputation the school has achieved within the local and wider community. By selecting the school you are therefore becoming part of a great tradition. Welcome and I hope that your son or daughter gets as much out of being here as many successful generations have in the past.
As a school our successes have been recognised by a wide range of national awards. We have achieved the prestigious Arts Mark Gold Award, Sports Mark, Investors in People and the ICT charter mark to name but a few. Our creative and innovative exploration of the use of Information Technology to enhance learning has earned us recognition by becoming a centre of excellent practice. We are one of only 50 schools granted pioneer status in partnership with RM. In 2010 we received the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust award for high attainment at GCSE. Wherever you go at Redhill you will be aware of the influence of modern teaching and learning approaches and facilities.
"Redhill School is a very good school which is truly inclusive and within which every person is valued equally". (OFSTED)

Winterfold House

At Winterfold we value each child as an individual and believe in educating the whole child, giving him or her the confidence and self belief to develop their talents to the full and to have a strong moral sense of right and wrong. (Mission Statement)
At the heart of Winterfold's ethos lies a very genuine concern for the happiness and success of every child entrusted into our care. Winterfold is almost unique in its history as a family run school and my wife, Linda, and I aim to maintain its intrinsic family values.

Ridgewood High School

Our school is a happy school with many strengths and an excellent record of continuing success. A team of dedicated, talented and well qualified staff work together to provide the range of opportunities necessary for students to achieve success.
Success breeds confidence and young people need confidence in order to believe that they can achieve. At Ridgewood we aim to develop this confidence through a culture of achievement and success both through academic study and a wide range of extra-curricular and enrichment activities.
Ridgewood is a school where traditional values and modern thinking go hand in hand to provide the highest quality of education. All members of out school community are encouraged to treat each other with respect, courtesy and consideration creating a positive atmosphere in which teachers can teach and students can learn. This ethos is supported and promoted by a well established house system and strong pastoral structures which encourage a sense of family and belonging. The vertical tutor groups mean students across year groups meet, mix and provide support for each other on a daily basis. Ridgewood students look after each other.

Gig Mill Primary School

It is our aim to provide the best possible education for your child. An education where the child feels valued, cared for and motivated.

To achieve this aim we need to work together. Governors, staff, parents and children can all help to make this happen. By working together, sharing problems and taking an interest we can move forward and create opportunities from which the children will richly benefit.
All people connected with the school need to be involved.
As a school, we will try to keep you, as parents, informed with how your child is progressing. Governors and parents will be encouraged to support children and staff with day-to-day activities. When the children see the amount of interest shown in their work, they will be encouraged to achieve even higher standards. Good behaviour and good work will be rewarded through, praise, recognition and rewards. Parents will be informed of this so that rewards can come from home as well as school. Through this, children's self-esteem will be raised and they can move on at the end of year 6 feeling confident and prepared for their next challenge.

Greenfield Primary School

The school itself was opened as long ago as April 1878, and known as Hill Street Board School. In those days there were three separate schools, for boys, girls and infants, with three headteachers. During 1989 we were moved into our beautiful new school and the old buildings were demolished. We cater for children between 4 and 11 years and at present we have 280 pupils.
The new building needed a new name, and it was chosen from the Greenfield Gardens which are next to the school. The new school benefits from the carefully designed layout of buildings and gardens. There is a large play area for children, a walled garden with wild plants and trees. The school has also acquired land at nearby Longlands for use as a sports area from September 1996.

Amblecote Primary School

We are a listening school. We value the views and opinions of both pupils and parents so that together we can continue to improve the opportunities for, and the success of, all our pupils."
