Thank you for joining us for the 2011/2012 season.
I am pleased to be back again this year and am looking forward to continuing to improve the environment and experience for our mini and junior players and their parents.
We are continually looking at ways to improve our delivery on and off the field. This year we are:
Challenging our coaches with continued support and development plans for their individual performance.
Implementing a new coaching style using the RFU pilot model in age groups 7- 11.
Piloting a fantastic new awards scheme for the RFU that is player driven and which, from our initial meetings, looks very exciting.
Continuing to lead the way for other clubs with our delivery, facilities and nutritional intake.
As we are in a Rugby World Cup year it always adds to the rugby excitement. The Club we will be open for all England World Cup games and I will be running a World Cup Kicking Challenge over this period with the final being held after the World Cup Final on the 1st XV pitch (more information to follow).
I have been looking into the nutritional value of the food that we had been putting out during the 2010/2011 season. After feedback from parents and coaches we will be changing the food on Sundays to deliver a healthier meal including a piece of fruit.
